Bird On A Wire is about a guy (Mel Gibson) who is in the Eye Relocation Program (WRP) going by the name Billy Ray Bowers, named for both the scoundrels that could have been his Daddy, per his Momma. One day his ex-fiancé ( Goldie Hawn) drives up to the gas situation where he is working and tells him to have `er up, unleaded.
Goldie Hawn at 45 composed had huge legs and takes every opportunity throughout the movie to point to them off..

When I first saw this film, I attended a sneak preview on a saturday night in Palm Springs. It was a sold out showing, the audience was cheering, laughing and applauding. I was upright there with them!!!! Goldie Hawn is glorious, hillarious and smart here!(isn’t she always?!!) Mel Gibson is equally obliging. The teaming of these two actors was awesome! Action, comedy, romance, this box office blockbuster has it all! A classic that gets better with each repeated viewing. Two movie icons together in a spacious movie!Critics were not kind to this movie, but audiences ignorred the reviews and enjoyed the film and it was a mega-hit, grossing over $80 million at the U.S. box office.
