Don’t let the title of this video fool you! It does not only include the epic of the Lion’s Den but takes Daniel from the time of his captivity and includes many stories from his life and the Book of Daniel. Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, the writing on the wall, etc.
This video was very marvelous in illustrating the examine of the book of Daniel for my Sunday School class. Even though it is involving, some scenes may be somewhat scarey for very runt children (preschool) but it is an true depiction of the Bible.
You can’t go rotten with this when the trace is so outrageous. The animation quality is like that typically seen in basic Saturday morning cartoons, which is top-notch enough for kids. What I like is that all the videos in this series give all the necessary details of the narrative, rather than giving a shallow, watered-down version as is usually the case in children’s stories. These will entertain preschoolers up through junior high and the script is very closely based on the scriptural memoir. The only reason I didn’t give this series a 5 is that each video has a hokey song that could definitely have been left out, but for such a outrageous brand and advantageous script, I can overlook that.
